The Wheaton Ice Hockey team finished their season with a 7-9 record.  After a slow start, the team finished strong, winning their last four games.  The team was young, with six freshmen in the starting rotation.  The team was led in scoring by Joel Allison with 38 points, Brent Olson with 23 points, and Chris Pope with 21 points.  Rob Strong, Jon Hokanson, Todd Wenck, and Tucker Brown provided strong defense while Tim Lucas, Tom Welch, Matt Brown, Tom Bell, and Dave Wilkinson filled in on offense.  Losing seniors Chris Duininck, Don Shepson, and Pete Nelson will be tough, but with a strong core of players, the team should be a strong contender next year.
